Junior Rookie Ball: (Ages 6-7)   *** New for 2021***
This program is designed as an introduction to baseball, and everyone will play equally. Using fun to introduce baseball fundamentals, players are encouraged to develop their skills and learn the rules. Fun, friendship, teamwork and sportsmanship are stressed.

The goal is to have a league where kids can play and learn the game of baseball against other kids of there same age rather than trying to move up to play rookieball at a young age where the risk of injury and player frustration goes up because they are playing against older kids.

Phase 1 - Hitting off a tee.
Phase 2 - Coach pitch and further skill development.
Phase 3 - Introduces the pitching machine (either electric or foot pedal action)

A T-shirt, baseball cap and a season-end wrap up party are provided. Players must bring their own glove and it is strongly recommended that players provide their own helmet.

Teams are on the diamond two nights a week.

The season ENDS with a wrap-up game in August at the Southwest London Diamonds (on Southdale Road, west of Wonderland and east of Col. Talbot).
